Tales from Switzerland
June 5, 2019
Sunday 2nd June 2019 – bade farewell to my last East Coast Sunrise for a few days as I headed to Luton to catch a flight to Switzerland. The aim is to deliver a 5 day training course covering the installation and calibration of a GeoSwath 4 Compact. It also covers the use of the latest GS4 software to acquire and process the bathymetry and side-scan data

Switzerland that well known coastal resort! In fact there are lots of lakes and rivers to survey which present their own unique challenges for hydrographers. There are lots of manmade structures in the lakes and dams and often they are surrounded by beautiful but very high terrain.
I ate Toblerone Ice cream – I rate it 8/10
