We are a small independent company specialising in Geotechnical Site Investigation which has been operating for over 30 years. The company was founded by Dave Hitchcock and he is still very much hands on running the company and working on the ship
We have a very small full time permanent team and we work closely with a local marine crew to man and maintain the ship
Because we are a small family run independent business you know you are dealing with a team that is committed and accountable - we strive to build relationships, trust and teamwork.

Our Story
The company started with a man and a boat.
It's not a lot different now except it's all a lot bigger.
Back in the 80's Dave Hitchcock graduated as a Geologist from Cardiff University with a desire to drill holes!
This he did for a few years before buying a small boat and starting to drill into the seabed.
He travelled around the globe with his boat and his trusty landrover and built his company
and his reputation at the same time
The company grew, more people, more boats, bigger equipment, bigger boats and eventually a pretty big ship
There have been some twists and turns along the way but the company is still standing, as one of the very few remaining independent family owned marine survey companies .
The company now has its eyes firmly set on a bright and exciting future as it builds a dynamic young team
of professionals to bring new ideas and energy to further compliment the solid foundations of experience and performance on which the company is built
Trust , honesty and professionalism are the key words in Dave's vocabulary
